Sales Support Specialist / Inside Sales and Management Trainee
The position requires a versatile individual to support our sales team and management in a variety of tasks. Day to day activities may include organizing and compiling data on customer metrics, researching potential domestic and international markets for a variety of our products. Sales Support will be identifying market opportunities for the company as well as finding prospective customers and key contacts within the target companies. It also includes lead generation, prospecting, and contacting potential customers to grow revenues. Sales support will play an important role in working with current and potential customers to address customer needs and help identify new products that solve customer problems and serve customer needs. SSS/Inside Sales will assist management in developing marketing strategies and sales promotions to accelerate short and long term sales growth. Interviewing customers and potential customers for market and product knowledge, conducting product testing initiatives and evaluating new product marketability will be essential.
A sales support specialist (SSS) will be our front line contact for customer service requests including order tracking, billing inquiries and discrepancies, order processing, product returns, file management, credit application administration, payment posting and accounts receivable management. Our SSS will be required to acquire a working proficiency of our online and payment applications including Quickbooks, TruCommerce EDI, as well as EBiz, PayPal and Authorize.net payment systems.
Integral to the Essentialware operation is inventory tracking for prompt and efficient vendor ordering – a role that will be shared by our SSS and others in the organization.
